Miranda Lambert Stops Concert Again, Breaks Silence on ‘Selfie Controversy’

Miranda Lambert, undeterred by public backlash, stands by her decision to confront a fan during her Vegas residency. While performing “Tin Man,” she stopped mid-song to call out an audience member who was taking a selfie.

Lambert expressed her frustration, saying, “These girls are more worried about their selfie than the song, and it’s pissing me off… We’re here for country music.”

The fan quickly put her phone away, and the crowd applauded Lambert’s remarks. At a later performance, Lambert pointed out a fan wearing a shirt that read, “Shoot tequila, not selfies,” joking, “She did it, I didn’t!” This sparked more criticism, with some accusing Lambert of shaming her fans.

Adela Calin, the fan involved in the selfie incident, shared her side of the story, saying she felt belittled by Lambert’s comments. Calin explained they had only taken a brief picture before returning to their seat and described the experience as being scolded like a child. She felt unfairly labeled as immature for simply wanting to capture a special moment.
