U.S. Authorities On Lookout for ‘Lone Wolf’ Attacks At Trump Inauguration

Federal, state, and local authorities have significantly increased security in preparation for President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. However, they have issued warnings to those planning to be in Washington, D.C., to remain vigilant for possible “lone wolf” attacks.

The inauguration ceremony has been moved indoors, reportedly due to expected extremely cold weather in the capital, but officials still have concerns about potential threats. This follows two instances during Trump’s campaign when he was targeted, including an incident in Butler, Pa., in July, where he was nearly shot by a sniper.
