House left her “profoundly disturbed.” Hostin and the other The View hosts were vocal in supporting Trump’s opponent,
Kamala Harris.During the election, they referred to Trump as “psychotic” and discussed his “levels of depravity.” Hostin stated,
“In 2016, we didn’t know what we would get from a Trump administration, but we know now—unfettered power.”
Following Trump’s win, Hostin deleted her X account, citing her refusal to engage with Elon Musk, who recently became head
of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). “I’m not going to buy a Tesla or Tesla stock,” she added.Hostin criticized
Musk’s handling of Twitter, calling the rebranding to X “stupid.” Reports claiming she called Musk a “b***d” on The View were
