100 and 102-year-old couple falls in love in nursing home and ties the knot – send your congratulations!

In Ohio’s Kingston Residence, an extraordinary love story unfolded. John and Phyllis Cook, both over 100 years old, found love and tied the knot. Their romance blossomed as neighbors in the senior living community.

“To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other,” said Phyllis, who is turning 103. John, a 100-year-old WWII veteran, added, “We were just compatible in a whole lot of ways, found ourselves enjoying each other’s company.”

Both widowed twice before, they decided to marry. They had their reasons, as Phyllis explained, “He’s not completely dead sexually, and neither am I…

So, they headed to the courthouse for a marriage license and unexpectedly became husband and wife. “It wasn’t the plan, but we got here and they said we could marry you here,” John shared.

The couple, with longevity in their genes, look forward to many happy years together. They’ll still live in their separate apartments, valuing their privacy.

Their story proves that love knows no age, and new beginnings can happen at any time.
