Beloved actor from ‘James at 16’ and ‘Salem’s Lot’ actor, found goes at 62

Beloved actor Lance Kerwin, known for his iconic roles in ‘Salem’s Lot’ and ‘The Loneliest Runner,’ has passed away at the age of 62 in San Clemente, California. His daughter Savannah confirmed his death on social media, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans.

Kerwin, a Newport Beach native, had a lifelong connection to the entertainment industry, with his father as an acting coach and his mother a talent agent. His acting career began at just 13, and he went on to appear in notable TV shows like ‘Little House on the Prairie,’ ‘Police Story,’ ‘Gunsmoke,’ and ‘The Family Holvak.’ However, he was best known for his role as James Hunter in ‘James at 16,’ originally titled ‘James at 15.’

Although the official cause of death hasn’t been disclosed, Kerwin’s legacy lives on through his work in film and television.
