Hollywood actress dies aged 95 as she’s killed in LA wildfires

Beloved actress Dalyce Curry, known for The Blues Brothers and The 10 Commandments,

tragically died at 95 after her Los Angeles home was destroyed by wildfires.

Her remains were found at her Altadena home on January 12, after she was reported missing.

Her granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook,

writing, “With a heavy heart, I share that our search for Momma D has come to an end…

She radiated positivity, showed grace, and lived as a shining example of strength.”

Kelley expressed regret for not spending more time with her but vowed to honor her memory.

Kelley shared footage of the devastation, including charred belongings and

Dalyce’s burned-out Cadillac. She last saw her grandmother on January 7, unaware the Eaton Fire would reach her home.

By the next morning, Dalyce’s house had been completely destroyed.Friends and

fans paid tribute to Dalyce online, remembering her warmth and resilience.

Her death is a tragic loss during the wildfires that continue to devastate communities across Los Angeles.
