Despite the fact that the stroke has significantly hampered Travis\u2019 ability to speak and prevents him from doing what he loves most, singing and performing, It required him to move around and use his right side of the body. Travis, though, is not letting his illness stop him.<\/p>\n
As Randy Travis was honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2016, he surprised the audience by performing \u201cAmazing Grace\u201d for the first time since having a stroke. Travis\u2019 wife talked for him since he was still having trouble formulating complete sentences.<\/p>\n
