When a family in Sacramento, California, got the disheartening news that their daughter\u2019s fianc\u00e9 would be calling off their wedding at the eleventh hour, they decided to make the most out of a difficult circumstance.<\/p>\n
Even though they had already spent $35,000 on deposits for the wedding, the family of the bride-to-be, Quinn Duane, 27, decided to celebrate nevertheless by throwing a party and feeding a group of homeless people a meal that was supposed to be served to the wedding\u2019s 120 attendees.<\/p>\n
On October 17, 2018, the Duane family extended an invitation to Sacramento\u2019s homeless population to join them at the Citizen Hotel for a meal and a night of entertainment, while Quinn Duane remained at home with friends at this troubling time.<\/p>\n
