A former security guard who worked for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is coming out with some disturbing allegations against the actress and what she did while married to Pitt.<\/p>\n
In the court documents that have now been obtained by the media, it seems that Pitt\u2019s lawyers are saying that a former security guard named Tony Webb was told that Jolie had told the children not to speak to Pitt when their custody visits happened.<\/p>\n
The documents also alleged that Jolie attempted to use non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to threaten the security guards into silence about this.<\/p>\n
The documents are part of the years-long legal battle between both exes over their joint Ch\u00e2teau Miraval vineyard. In this case, there has been much back-and-forth over the use of NDAs and other issues.<\/p>\n
According to the documents, Webb was the \u201chead of Jolie\u2019s security detail for two decades, and he remained in that role for approximately four years after the couple divorced.\u201d<\/p>\n
Webb stated that Jolie \u201crequired him and his contractors to sign NDAs relating to various personal and professional details of her, and her family\u2019s, life.\u201d<\/p>\n
After the couple filed for divorce, they had a major custody battle over their six children. According to the documents, Webb claimed he \u201creceived multiple calls from Jolie\u2019s representative, who told Mr. Webb to remind his staff that they had entered into NDAs with Jolie and that if they testified in a custody proceeding, Jolie would sue them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Webb said that he had conveyed the message to his contractors, and both of them confirmed that they would testify if they were to be subpoenaed.<\/p>\n
The documents further claimed that \u201cone of them told Webb that \u2018he would testify about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The documents also stated that the \u201cthe two security contractors both testified\u201d despite being threated with being sued and shortly after, Mr. Webb\u2019s company was fired by Jolie.<\/p>\n
Webb himself does not claim to have heard Jolie\u2019s directive instructing the children not to interact with Pitt during custody visits. He now also works for Pitt.<\/p>\n
Jolie\u2019s attorney, Paul Murphy has since then addressed the media over this matter. He said in a statement, \u201cMr. Pitt\u2019s continued attempt to equate common NDAs for security personnel and housekeepers covering confidential information employees learn at work, with him demanding an expanded NDA to ensure the continued coverup of his deplorable actions remains shameful.\u201d \u201cThis case is not about NDAs in general, but about power and control. All Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt. She looks forward to the day when he is finally able to let her go,\u201d the statement further read.<\/p>\n
The latest filing comes after over a month after Jolie\u2019s lawyer filed documents claiming that Pitt had been physically abusive toward her even before the alleged infamous plane incident of 2016. That incident, according to documents, was the final straw in asking for a divorce.<\/p>\n
The motion that Jolie\u2019s legal team filed in early April, most revolved around the dispute over their shares of ownership in their French winery estate, Ch\u00e2teau Miraval.<\/p>\n
Her legal team filed a motion asking the court to compel Pitt and his legal team to provide \u201cresponses\u201d and \u201cdocuments\u201d that explained why the actor \u201csuddenly conditioned his purchase of Jolie\u2019s share of Miraval on her agreeing to a greatly expanded NDA now covering Pitt\u2019s personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jolie firmly claims that this move to demand NDAs was Pitt\u2019s attempt to \u201ccover up\u201d the alleged abuse against Jolie and their children.<\/p>\n
Pitt was never charged with a crime after authorities investigated the 2016 plane incident.<\/p>\n
In contrast to what Jolie\u2019s legal team is saying, Pitt\u2019s lawyers allege that it was Jolie and her team who requested a \u201cbroader\u201d NDA.<\/p>\n
