My tush missed the seat.\u201d Whoopi Goldberg, responding to Behar\u2019s comment, said that the incident scared everyone there, telling the audience, \u201cIt scared us so badly. You didn\u2019t see what we saw.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Joy Behar suffers dramatic fall on \u2018The View,\u2019 face-plants in front of audience | New York Post\" width=\"790\" height=\"444\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xljF0wSKCis?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Continuing, Whoopi added that it was \u201cscary\u201d seeing Behar miss the chair and sprawl on the floor, saying \u201cWe saw you trying to figure out how not to fall onto the floor, and that was scary because you don\u2019t know whether to catch you and annoy you \u2019cause we\u2019re touching you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Behar joked that her experience was like being on a roller coaster at an amusement park because of how everything was swirling around when she fell, telling her fellow co-hosts, \u201cThe chairs were moving. It was like a ride on Coney Island. It was swirling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joy Behar, flustered but joking at the time she fell down on stage, which was in March of 2023, said as she sprawled on the floor, \u201c[After] 25 years that has never happened! Who do I sue? I went flying \u2026 I just missed a step, as usual.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe View\u201d has since rolled out new, safer chairs for the co-hosts. The chairs are stationary and have four tall legs, a square seat, and an adjoining back. So hopefully it\u2019ll be harder for one of them to take a tumble like Behar. She, commenting on the chairs Thursday, said, \u201cThat\u2019s why we have these chairs. These are new chairs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Whoopi is too large for the chairs and so isn\u2019t a fan of them. Joking to Behar about them, she said, \u201cThey\u2019re not new to my behind, because my behind doesn\u2019t fit in this chair as I\u2019ve mentioned many times. The other one, my butt fit on, but it was not good for you. So we give what we can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Much as Whoopi, Behar, and the others might try to portray themselves as pleasant, if somewhat left-leaning grandmas, they\u2019re radicals with a goal to send a message. Speaking about them, rapper Ice Cube told Tucker that he wasn\u2019t allowed on the show because of his politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I tried to go on, I tried to go on The View. They didn\u2019t have me on The View,\u201d he said. \u201cWell, a few of the guests just really didn\u2019t like, where I was coming from\u2026.a few of the hosts, I mean, so that\u2019s what I was told by the producers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, he also said, \u201cYou know, I don\u2019t know if the producers just copping out and using some of their hosts to not have me come on and explain myself, but\u2026I\u2019ve been on there before. You know, it\u2019s just when I\u2019ve became an independent thinker.
