The teacher who was helping one of her kindergarten students, Little Johnny put his boots on? He asked for help and she could see why. With her pulling and him pushing, the boots still didn\u2019t want to go on. When the second boot was on, she had worked up a sweat. She almost whimpered when Little Johnny said,<\/p>\n
\u201cTeacher, they\u2019re on the wrong feet.\u201d She looked, and sure enough, they were. It wasn\u2019t any easier pulling the boots off than it was putting them on. She managed to keep her cool as together they worked to get the boots back on \u2013 this time on the right feet.<\/p>\n
Little Johnny then announced,
\n\u201cThese aren\u2019t my boots.\u201d
\nShe bit her tongue rather than get right in his face and scream,
\n\u201cWhy didn\u2019t you say so?\u201d like she wanted to do. Once again she struggled to help him pull the ill-fitting boots off.
\nLittle Johnny then said,
\n\u201cThey\u2019re my brother\u2019s boots. My Mom made me wear them.\u201d
\nShe didn\u2019t know if she should laugh or cry.<\/p>\n
She then mustered up the grace to wrestle the boots onto his feet again.
\nShe said, \u201cNow, where are your mittens?\u201d
