Turning 80 years old is a very important milestone. It represents reaching a significant age that symbolizes a lifetime of experiences, wisdom, and accomplishments.<\/p>\n
On the day he turned 80, a man who has described his relationship with his daughter as close, decided to spend the day with her and pay her a surprise visit.<\/p>\n
Following his wife\u2019s passing, the two haven\u2019t seen each other very often, but they have talked on the phone daily.<\/p>\n
As the man approached his daughter\u2019s home and knocked on the door, she answered it and was very surprised to see him but wasn\u2019t excited about the visit. What\u2019s most, she asked him what he was doing there, which confused the elderly man who was convinced his daughter would be happy to see him.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanted to spend my birthday with you,\u201d he said, still puzzled by her strange behavior. What\u2019s most, she asked him to leave right away.<\/p>\n
His daughter has never treated him that way, which was a red flag. \u201cWas something else going on?\u201d he wondered.<\/p>\n
As he turned around and left, he glanced at the house one single time and that\u2019s when he noticed two armed men inside the house.<\/p>\n
This explained everything. His daughter was forced to throw him out.<\/p>\n
He quickly alerted the police and explained the situation, urging them to hurry.
\nOfficers were at the scene in no time. They surrounded the daughter\u2019s place and then entered inside forcefully. After a couple of minutes, which seemed like an eternity to the elderly man, they got outside with two men in handcuffs.<\/p>\n
The man\u2019s daughter came after them and hugged her father. \u201cDad, I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d she cried. \u201cI was trying to keep you safe. Those men broke in just before you got here. I didn\u2019t know what to do, and I didn\u2019t want you to get hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n
They spent the rest of the day together and it was the best birthday he could ever ask for.<\/p>\n
