However, one contestant, Kelly Johnson, made an exception that caught the attention of the wide public.<\/p>\n<p>Kelley, who represented the state of Colorado, took the stage wearing nursing scrubs. To the delight of many, who didn\u2019t expect such outfit on the gorgeous young woman, Kelly delivered a monologue about her experience as a nurse with an elderly Alzheimer\u2019s patient.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/boreddaddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/fweqe111.png?ezimgfmt=rs:620x625\/rscb1\/ng:webp\/ngcb1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>People were totally stunned, their hearts were filled with joy by the fact that a Miss America contestant replaced a gown for nursing scrubs.<\/p>\n<p>No matter if she wins the competition or not, one thing is certain, she has already won people\u2019s hearts.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly, who now works as a registered nurse, is a graduate of Grand View University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2015.
