Boogie-woogie, an exuberant and lively dance style, traces its roots back to the United States in the 1920s. It\u2019s a genre said to have emerged within African-American communities, notably in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. Its creation was heavily influenced by the rhythms of blues, jazz, and ragtime music.<\/p>\n
