When country music star Luke Bryan isn\u2019t singing his heart out on stage, you\u2019ll likely find him at one of his two homes.<\/p>\n
Bryan owns a beach house in Florida, but it\u2019s his Tennesee farm where he and his wife Caroline raise their two sons and his sister\u2019s three children who they adopted after she and her husband passed away.<\/p>\n
The 150-farm is called Red Bird Farm, named after his sister Kelly\u2019s love of red birds.<\/p>\n
In addition to Bryan\u2019s brother Chris dying in a car accident when he was 19, Kelly passed away unexpectedly in 2017.
\nShe was home with her young son when she mysteriously died of causes that couldn\u2019t be determined by autopsies or the coroner.<\/p>\n
Her husband, Ben Lee Cheshire, had custody of their children Jordan, Kris, and Til, who are now in their 20s, until Cheshire passed away in 2o14.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe never thought twice about it. You know, it was never something that he and I had to sit down and talk about, you know, should we take this on? We just did it,\u201d Caroline told Country Living.<\/p>\n
Caroline\u2019s family unfortunately experienced tragedy when her niece Sadie Brett died from a heart condition at 7-months-old.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve watched my family go through ebbs and flows where we get mad at God and we get mad at why this has happened,\u201d Luke said. \u201cWell, you keep going and you try to, try to be as positive as you can, and you try to appreciate every day.<\/p>\n
A field of bright flowers and a party barn were erected on the Bryan farm and dedicated in her honor.
\n\u201cYou have to honor their memory by living, you have to be a positive light for people,\u201d Luke said. \u201cIf you live long enough life\u2019s going to get you a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n
Red Bird Farm features the main 10,000 sq. ft. home, a 1,800 sq. ft. guest house, and the 7,000 sq. ft. foot party barn.<\/p>\n
The guest house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, media room, front porch, screened-in porch, and is nearby a catfish pond.
\nThe barn houses rescue animals including a white pony named Kilo, a rescue goat named Goober Goldsby, mini horses, pigs, and a donkey.<\/p>\n
And having family close by and honoring those who are no longer with them is something that\u2019s very important to the Bryan family.
\n\u201cIt certainly makes it special when we\u2019re all together and we know that people are smiling down, and they\u2019re, they\u2019re with us, celebrating these amazing moments,\u201d said Luke of celebrating his 2014 CMA Entertainer of the Year award.<\/p>\n
Luke and Caroline also visit their Florida beach house which they call \u201cSnowman\u201d in honor of Chris.<\/p>\n
\u201cSnowman\u201d is a reference to someone who scores an 8 on a single hole.
\n\u201cEvidently, Chris wasn\u2019t a great golfer,\u201d Caroline told Traditional Home.<\/p>\n
Snowman is a place where the family goes for some private relaxation.<\/p>\n
