But in the heart of Terminal B at Westbridge International, everything stopped. All because of a bark.<\/p>\n
K9 Max wasn\u2019t the kind of dog who barked without cause.<\/p>\n
A veteran Belgian Malinois, six years old and unflinchingly precise, Max had sniffed out explosives,<\/p>\n
drugs, and threats invisible to the human eye.<\/p>\n
Officer Mark Daniels, his handler and closest companion, trusted Max more than any colleague.<\/p>\n
The bond between them wasn\u2019t only trained\u2014it was instinctual.<\/p>\n
