After 37 years at 7 Lincoln Square, Live with Kelly and Mark has recorded its final episode in the Upper West Side<\/p>\n
studio that\u2019s been its home since the Regis and Kathie Lee era. The episode, taped April 1, marked the end<\/p>\n
of an era as the show prepares to relocate downtown to the new Robert A. Iger Building at 7 Hudson Square.<\/p>\n
Kelly Ripa, who joined the show in 2001, reflected on the sentimental value of the old studio. \u201cOur kids grew up here,\u201d<\/p>\n
said her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos. \u201cThey were always backstage, even as babies.\u201d Ripa added that the show<\/p>\n
allowed her to balance being a full-time mom and a full-time professional, a rare privilege she doesn\u2019t take for granted.<\/p>\n
