A shocking case out of Florida is making headlines after two middle school boys were accused of causing more than $50,000 in damage to their school library \u2014 and it was their own mothers who turned them in. According to the Volusia Sheriff\u2019s Office, the 12- and 13-year-old boys entered Friendship Elementary School in Deltona twice on September 13, once during the day and again after dark. Investigators say they broke into the library, overturned furniture, scattered books, smashed glass, and spray-painted graffiti.<\/p>\n

When a fire alarm went off, deputies responded and discovered the library destroyed. Authorities later released surveillance images showing two masked suspects, one wearing a Monster Energy cap. The photos quickly spread online, leading to dozens of tips. The breakthrough came when the boys\u2019 mothers recognized them in the footage and immediately called police.<\/p>\n

Deputies say both teens confessed, admitting they returned at night to see the damage and cause more destruction.
