With the assistance of their son, Lee embarked on this secret mission in May.
\nBy the time their anniversary approached on August 10th, approximately 1.2 million sunflowers stood tall, swaying in the breeze, all dedicated to Renee.<\/p>\n

Renee\u2019s reaction? Pure joy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt made me feel very special,\u201d she gushed. \u201cIt couldn\u2019t have been a more perfect anniversary gift than a field of sunflowers.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the sunflower spectacle didn\u2019t just captivate Renee.
\nThe breathtaking sight attracted admirers from all over Kansas, turning their farm into an unexpected tourist spot.<\/p>\n
