{"id":517,"date":"2023-07-08T17:42:54","date_gmt":"2023-07-08T17:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usapress.info\/?p=517"},"modified":"2023-07-08T17:42:54","modified_gmt":"2023-07-08T17:42:54","slug":"al-roker-becomes-first-time-grandpa-as-daughter-courtney-welcomes-baby-girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usapress.info\/?p=517","title":{"rendered":"Al Roker becomes first-time grandpa as daughter Courtney welcomes baby girl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Today co-anchor and weatherman\u2019s daughter Courtney Roker Laga, 36, and husband Wesley Laga welcomed their first child, Sky Clara Laga, Monday, July 3.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u2019s co-hosts shared the exciting news Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The first-time grandpa or Pop-Pop as he\u2019ll now be called, shared his daughter and family were doing well and that he \u201ccouldn\u2019t be happier\u201d about his grandchild\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n<p>Al shared several photos of baby Sky on his Instagram Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/goldenpress.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/32.webp\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Courtney announced she was expecting her first child in March with a sweet announcement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA new adventure is about to begin,\u201d she captioned her Instagram video.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely excited to welcome a new member into our family and start this next chapter in our lives,\u201d she told Today at the time. \u201cWe feel truly blessed and excited for our little miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In June, Al joined family and friends to celebrate his daughter and son-in-law at a baby shower held on the couple\u2019s second wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/goldenpress.life\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/5.webp\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201c2 years ago today, these two tied the knot. Today we celebrated their about to be here baby girl. So excited.\u201d the proud grandpa-to-be captioned a set of photos from the event.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the entire Roker family!
