Julia Roberts prefers to keep her family life as private as she can, but in October last year she said in an interview that her marriage of over two decades with her husband was a \u201cdream come true\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but it is not my only dream come true,\u201d the actress gushed. \u201cThe life that I have built with my husband, the life that we\u2019ve built with our children, that\u2019s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
When she is not working her \u201cfull-time job\u201d she leads the life of that of a \u201chomemaker,\u201d which is a part of her life that brings her \u201ca lot of joy.\u201d The actress said when she is away from home working, she communicates with her children by writing them letters.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s something Danny and I have always done,\u201d she said, talking of writing letters ton her children. \u201cThe first letter that he ever wrote me, which was seven pages long, I still have it tucked away. One day, I\u2019ll show it to Hazel and say, \u2018That\u2019s what you\u2019re looking for.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Now Roberts is celebrating a major milestone in her life; her 21st wedding anniversary to her husband, Danny Moder. To mark the occasion, the actress posted a picture sharing a moment of PDA with her husband. She posted the image of their passionate kiss on her Instagram.<\/p>\n
In the picture, the couple is engaged in what seems to be a very passionate kiss. In the caption, she writes simply \u201c21,\u201d before she added some emojis for fireworks and the hashtags \u201c#truelove #heckyeah #fromhereonout.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple have been married since July 4th, 2002 and share three children together. Their 18-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, and their 16-year-old son, Henry. Danny Moder is also a part of the Hollywood fraternity and works as a cinematographer.<\/p>\n

This is not the only time the notoriously private Roberts has gushed about her husband, in 2018 she shared with Gwyneth Paltrow on the GOOP podcast how Moder made her feel. She said, \u201cI think that first kind of real \u2018seismic shift\u2019 was meeting Danny, getting married to Danny\u2026 that was the first \u2018my life will never be the same\u2019 in the most incredible, indescribable way.\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to gush about how much she loves and appreciates her husband, saying, \u201cHe truly, to this day, to this minute is just my favorite human \u2026 I\u2019m more interested in what he has to say or his point of view just (more) than anybody. Really, we\u2019re so lucky in that way. We just really, really like each other and we just enjoy each other\u2019s company,\u201d<\/p>\n
She went on to explain their love for one another. She said, \u201cWe\u2019ve been married for 16 years, we\u2019ve been together for 18 \u2026 It just gets deeper, it just gets more complex.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also added that marriage can be a gamble and you never know whether it will work till you are in it. She said, \u201c\u2026 you\u2019re young and you fall in love and go, \u2018Yeah, we\u2019re going to get married and we\u2019re going to build a house and will have kids,\u2019 and all these things that we all kind of dream of, but you don\u2019t know if you\u2019re going to like the same couch and you don\u2019t know if he is going to want to get patterned towels.\u201d<\/p>\n
