Sandra claimed that, five years prior to her 2010 divorce from ex-husband Jesse James, Hurricane Katrina inspired her to think about adoption.<\/p>\n

The Blind Side actress \u201cdid wonder [to herself], \u201cMaybe not,\u201d but she ultimately made the decision to adopt when \u201cKatrina happened in New Orleans,\u201d according to Parenting. Sandra stated to the newspaper in June 2018 that \u201cSomething told me, \u2018My child is there.\u2019\u201d It was strange.<\/p>\n
After adopting Louis, Sandra Bullock adopted Laila Bullock as her second child in 2015. Later that year, she started dating photographer Bryan Randall, a resident of Los Angeles, with whom she has since raised the famous person\u2019s stunning family.<\/p>\n
In a statement released in May 2021, an insider revealed that \u201cthey have actually become one giant, loving family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sandra saw that her son had a little different perspective than her daughter, who is \u201cunafraid\u201d and \u201cgoing to do\u201d amazing things in life. For reasons the Golden Globe winner gave in May 2018, Louis is referred to as her \u201c78-year-old son.\u201d<\/p>\n

In November 2021, Sandra candidly stated that she occasionally wished her children had her skin tone in an interview with Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Willow Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Sandra on Red Table Talk.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are times when I wish our skin tones were the same, I would like to add.As a result, people might approach us more casually, according to Bullock. She continued, \u201cAnd I feel the same as a mother of children who are white or brown-skinned.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sandra doesn\u2019t have to worry about how she is raising the kids because she has made parenthood her top priority ever since Louis and Laila entered her life. Both the relationship and their parenting are \u201cdoing better than ever\u201d for the long-term couple.<\/p>\n
