But Melania Trump has also attracted a lot of attention around the world, not least for her style on inauguration day.

Now, however, it is not the clothes that have come into focus, but a particular behavior of the First Lady that has aroused speculation.

No one could have missed the heated argument between President Donald Trump and President Zelensky as the two world leaders clashed when they met in the Oval Office.

Since then, people across the globe have analyzed the unexpected debate that unfolded right in front of them. The path forward towards a lasting peace for Ukraine still seems variegated and far from straight.

But this week, the spotlight was on Trump for a completely different reason. The US president gave a speech to Congress in which he specifically mentioned Zelensky. After the heated argument, Trump wanted an apology from the Ukrainian president so that he could resume peace talks.

During his speech to Congress, Donald said that he had received a letter from Zelensky, and that he was very pleased with the contents.

“”I appreciate that he sent this letter,” Trump said, per the BBC. “The letter reads Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians.”

Melania Trump’s unusual behavior

But there was one other person in the audience who also stole the show. We’re talking, of course, about Trump’s wife, Melania. The president’s wife is often there when Trump needs her, and during this speech, he may have needed her support more than ever.

Cameras were focused on Melania Trump as she watched her husband’s speech, beaming at everyone present. And there was one detail in her body language that we haven’t seen in a long time. Judi James, an expert on body language, points out an unusual behavior.

“There was a moment of almost romantic affection,” she tells the British Daily Mail.

She believes that the moment when Trump proudly pointed towards his wife during the speech was extra special.

“The woman who used to be known for her erratic behavior beamed back like an exuberant teenager. She received her own ovation, which made her smile with authentic pride and enjoyment,” she says.

Praised by her husband

Donald Trump took the opportunity to pay tribute to his wife Melania in front of the entire Congress, particularly praising her hard work and how much he admires her.

“I want to introduce another person who has dedicated herself to foster care, community, she works so hard at it. A very loving person, our magnificent first lady of the United States,” he said warmly to his wife.

Judi James believes that Trump’s tribute to his wife and Melania’s mood that day was a true power factor.

“In her charcoal gray suit, Melania was a more commanding and confident presence here than on any previous occasion,” the expert points out and continues:

“She who once looked so stunned and surprised when she received applause directed at herself, this time seemed prepared for cheers, clapping and ovations, basking in the personal tribute rather than hiding from it.”
