OFF THE RECORDKate Middleton Has Left Windsor For First Time Since Her Operation

This has been a scary week for royalists since Monday, when Buckingham Palace said that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer. I’m happy to bring you some positive health news.

The Princess of Wales is getting better after having planned stomach surgery more than three weeks ago.

She was able to go on vacation with her husband, Prince William, and their three kids yesterday morning to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where the King is also getting better. This was a clear sign that she was getting better.

“Catherine is recovering well,” a friend tells me. “She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”

The 42-year-old Princess was last seen at the London Clinic 12 days ago. She had been there for almost two weeks.

The Princess of Wales was able to go on vacation with her husband, Prince William, and their three kids yesterday morning. They are going to spend the half-term at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said on January 17 that, “based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.” This was the only comment the palace made about her health.

A spokesperson for the company did not say what kind of surgery she had, but sources told us it wasn’t for cancer.

Catherine has not been pictured since she left the hospital. She has been at Adelaide Cottage, the family’s four-bedroom home in Windsor Home Park.

Their names are Prince George (10 years old), Princess Charlotte(8), and Prince Louis(5). They all go to Lambrook school in Berkshire, which is a 15-minute drive away. They broke up yesterday to take a week off for the half-term break.

Because he wasn’t invited to Sandringham, Prince Harry had to meet his father and stepmother, Queen Camilla, at Clarence House on Wednesday for 45 minutes. On the other hand, Catherine’s family might be able to see the King at Sandringham, based on what doctors say.

Tuesday was the start of the King’s “schedule of regular treatments,” but palace officials did not say what kind of cancer he has.

The house Catherine and her family own on the Sandringham estate has ten bedrooms and is where Catherine and her family will stay.

William thanked people for their “kind messages of support” at a fundraising event for the air ambulance on Wednesday. “It means a great deal to us all,” he told the guests.
