Tim Curry, beloved for iconic roles such as Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Pennywise, faced a severe health challenge when he suffered a stroke in July 2012, leading to permanent wheelchair use. Despite this adversity, Curry’s resilience shines. “Tim had a stroke last July,” his representative shared. “He has been going to physical therapy doing very well and still has his great sense of humor.” Transitioning mainly to voice roles, Curry continues to influence the entertainment industry. “I’m doing well and I’m looking forward to it,” he remarked about his ongoing work. Even with reduced mobility, Curry remains an active participant in special events, illustrating his enduring spirit and love for acting.
