Robert De Niro’s Daughter Shares Her Son’s Tragic Cause of Death

Robert De Niro’s daughter, Drena De Niro, tragically shared the cause of her 19-year-old son Leo’s death. In an Instagram post, she revealed that Leo’s death was due to the combined effects of various drugs, including fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine, and cocaine. The medical examiner concluded that Leo’s death was accidental.

Leo was found unresponsive at 55 Wall Street on July 2 and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was an aspiring actor, following in the footsteps of his famous grandfather, Robert De Niro. The iconic actor issued a statement expressing his deep distress over Leo’s passing and requested privacy for his family to grieve.

This devastating news comes shortly after Robert De Niro and martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen welcomed a child in May 2023. De Niro, at the age of 79, addressed becoming a father again, expressing his acceptance of the situation and stating that it “never gets easier.” He revealed the news during an interview, surprising many with the announcement.

Robert De Niro has multiple children from various relationships. Drena, his oldest child, is now 51. He also has children with his former wives, Diane Abbott and Grace Hightower, as well as with his former girlfriend Toukie Smith. Leo’s untimely death has cast a shadow over the De Niro family, as they mourn the loss of a young life and attempt to navigate the difficult circumstances surrounding his passing.
