Another study in 2016 revealed that 70% of people who had visitation dreams believed they were connected to an afterlife.
Psychologist Jennifer E. Shorter identified four key traits of visitation dreams: the deceased appears healthy or younger, they often provide reassurance, the message is more telepathic than physical, and the dream is calm and harmonious.
